ZERONE International — Small Business Plans

Small Business Plans Privacy Notice

How ZERONE International handles data in its small-business services: preview pages, calls to our AI assistant, text messages, do-not-contact requests and retention.

This notice adds to our main Privacy Policy. It applies to ZERONE International — Small Business Plans (formerly called Local Services): the websites, Google Business Profile help, review requests, missed-call text-back, AI phone answering and related services we offer to businesses. It also applies to how we contact businesses about these services. Where this notice and the main Privacy Policy differ, this notice applies to these services.

Who we are. ZERONE International LLC, Farmingville, NY 11738, United States. E-mail: [email protected].

1. Information about businesses we may contact

To find businesses that could benefit from our services, we look at information that businesses publish themselves. This includes the business name, address, public phone number, website, opening hours and services. We record our own notes, for example "no website" or "hours on the website differ from the profile". We do not copy or store Google ratings, review texts or photos. From Google we keep only the business's place identifier, as Google's terms allow.

If we write to a business, we use the contact details the business publishes, or the details a person gave us directly.

2. Personal preview pages

We may prepare a private preview page for a business, showing ideas for its website and the issues we noticed. Each page:

  • has an unguessable address and is marked so that search engines do not index it;
  • carries the notice "Concept preview — not the business's official website";
  • uses only stock images and our own wording;
  • is deleted 30 days after it is created. After that, the address shows that the page is gone.

When a preview page is opened, we record the time, which page was opened and how it was reached (for example, the QR code on a postcard). We use this to decide whether a follow-up makes sense. To tell visits apart without storing who you are, we keep only a salted one-way hash of the visitor's IP address, and delete it after 90 days. Preview pages use no cookies, no advertising tags and no third-party analytics.

3. How we contact businesses

  • Letters and postcards. Every letter and postcard shows our company name, our postal address and a way to ask us to stop.
  • E-mail. In our first outreach phase, we e-mail only people who wrote to us first or asked to hear from us. Every marketing e-mail shows our postal address and has an unsubscribe link that works for at least 30 days after sending (in practice, permanently). One-click unsubscribe is supported.
  • Phone calls and text messages. We do not make cold calls and do not send cold text messages. We call or text only people who asked us to, and only within the scope of the consent they gave (see section 5).

4. Calls to our AI phone assistant

When you call our number, (631) 900-2595, an AI assistant named Ava answers. At the start of the call, Ava says that it is an AI assistant and that the call is recorded. If you do not want the call to be recorded, you can hang up and contact us in writing instead.

Our voice provider gives us the recording, a written transcript and a short summary. We use them to answer your request, to follow up with you if you asked us to, and to improve our answers. If you give Ava your e-mail address and ask for a proposal, an AI model reads the transcript and drafts a written proposal; a person checks every proposal before it is sent to you. We keep transcripts and summaries for 90 days. Recordings stay with our voice provider and are deleted after 30 days, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we must keep them for a legal reason.

Ava is not an emergency service. If you have an emergency, call 911.

5. Text messages and consent records

Text messages you send to our text number, (631) 319-7032, are received through Google Voice and read by our team; we answer them personally. We send text messages only to people who gave us their prior express consent for the specific kind of message, for example a callback they requested. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop messages at any time, or HELP for help.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Our phone and messaging providers process numbers only to deliver our messages.

When you give consent on our website, we record the time, the page, the exact consent wording and its version, your IP address and browser type, and the result of our bot check. Consent records cannot be changed after they are written. We keep them for 5 years after your last interaction with us, so we can show what you agreed to.

6. "Do not contact" requests

You can ask us to stop contacting you in any of these ways:

  • use the unsubscribe link in any of our e-mails;
  • reply STOP to a text message;
  • tell us during a call or in person;
  • e-mail [email protected].

We add your e-mail address, phone number or business to a permanent do-not-contact list within one business day. That list is checked automatically before every letter, postcard, e-mail, text message or call. We keep the entry so that we can keep honoring your request.

7. Data of our clients' customers

When we run a service for a client business, we may process personal data of that business's customers. This includes data needed for review-request messages, missed-call text-back, booking forms or calls answered for the business. We act as a service provider for that business. We use this data only to provide the service the business ordered. We do not sell it and do not use it for our own marketing. The client business is responsible for having the right to share this data and for collecting any consent its customers must give.

8. Service providers

9. Google Business Profiles we manage

When a client asks us to manage its Google Business Profile, the profile stays in the client's name and under the client's ownership. The client invites us as a manager and can remove us at any time. We follow Google's guidelines for working with third parties and tell the client in writing that the profile itself is free and that our fee is for our work.

E-mail [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, described in our main Privacy Policy.

These services are meant for businesses, not for children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
